Custom Homes,Start To Finish

Four ways we build — and one standard across all of them.

01 — Ground Up

Custom Homes

A home built for one family, on one piece of land, with nothing borrowed from a catalogue of floor plans. We are only limited by the imagination of our clients.

We can come in at any stage — before you buy the lot, after you have architectural drawings, or anywhere between. Coming in early is usually cheaper.

  • Lot evaluation, feasibility and site costs
  • Architecture and engineering coordination
  • Interior design and finish selection included
  • Upfront itemized pricing before contract
  • In-house carpentry, cabinetry and millwork
  • Final walk-through and warranty follow-up

02 — Transform

Remodels

You love the location and the bones, but the house has stopped working for how you actually live. A remodel changes the plan, not just the finishes.

We handle the structural side that most finish contractors will not touch — moving bearing walls, opening up plans, adding square footage.

  • Whole-home remodels
  • Kitchens and primary suites
  • Additions and second-story builds
  • Basement finishes and conversions
  • Structural changes and load-bearing work
  • Custom cabinetry and built-ins

03 — Restore

Renovations

The plan works. The house is simply tired. Renovation brings a structurally sound home back to current standards without redrawing it.

This is often the highest-return work we do — particularly on homes being prepared for sale, or bought with good bones and deferred maintenance.

  • Mechanical, electrical and plumbing updates
  • Windows, doors, roofing and envelope
  • Insulation and energy efficiency
  • Flooring, trim and full finish refresh
  • Bath and kitchen updates
  • Pre-sale value improvements

04 — Our Specialty

Resto-Mod

Borrowed from the car world, and it means the same thing here. Some houses are worth keeping and not worth leaving alone. You keep what earns its place — the site, the bones, the character — and rebuild everything else to modern standard. What comes out the other side is a house with a history that performs like new construction.

What We Keep

  • The lot, the orientation and the view that made you buy it
  • Sound structure worth building on rather than hauling away
  • Original character — wherever it still earns its place
  • Salvageable materials, re-milled and put back to work

What Gets Rebuilt

  • Structure, foundation and framing
  • Full mechanical, electrical and plumbing
  • Insulation, envelope and moisture control
  • Floor plan, glazing and how the house meets its view

The finish line is yours to set. A resto-mod can stay faithful to its period, or it can become something entirely new on old bones — which is what happened at 1450 High St, where a 1950 Boulder house became a modern one without ever leaving its hillside.
